Screen and Music Travel is dedicated to the film,
television and media industry with a proven track record.
Our all round performance has seen steady growth where
other companies have remained static. Despite extreme
changes within the travel industry, especially over
the past five years, Screen and Music Travel have stood
firm.
- We have a proactive approach to the most difficult
scenarios.
- Established cohesive relationship with airlines
in respect of negotiated fares and excess
baggage.
- Our company's success is the strong bond that exists
between our customers and ourselves. The trust placed
in us allows for competent decision making and an
overall 'stress less' experience for the customer.
- We are continually evolving with the changing needs
of our clients, tailoring our product to meet their
very individual needs.
Our current portfolio includes an international news
agency. They need to travel to world events and disasters "at
the drop of a hat" often with several tons of
Satellite Uplink equipment. We are presently responsible
for moving their staff in and out of Kabul, Baghdad
and more recently Sharm el Sheik; or wherever else
the news takes them.
Our groups department can arrange flights for large
numbers of people attending conferences and world events.
Travel for the production team and crews for the opening
and closing of the Olympic Games and the G8 summit
were all arranged by Screen and Music Travel. You may
know that British Airways has limited the number of
agencies that can now use their groups department.
We are one such agency having renewed our groups contract
with BA. We are a preferred partner of British Airways.
The Bristol office was opened in 2002 to service the
requirements of the BBC's natural history unit, and
the associated production companies it the Bristol
area, including Granada. The BBC intends to relocate
many departments to Manchester, and we are currently
researching feasibility of opening a North West England
branch of Screen and Music Travel. |
